P.G.D.A.V College is a prestigious institution located in the heart of New Delhi, India and has been established since 1957. The college has made a name for itself by offering quality academic education and producing some of the best minds in India. We are affiliated to the University of Delhi and have been accredited with an A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Our faculties include experienced professionals from diverse fields who are considered to be experts in their respective areas of expertise and have years of teaching experience under their belts. Our courses span disciplines such as Technology, Management, Arts & Humanities, Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies and more for Undergraduates as well as Postgraduate levels. History
P.G.D.A.V College was established in the year 1957 by Delhi Government as a permanent affiliate of the University of Delhi and since then it has been providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds. The college began its journey with just six Arts Departments offering Bachelor’s Degrees and three science departments offering diploma courses in Science and Education, but as time passed and modern advancements took place, it added more departments to its portfolio.
Today, P.G.D.A.V College houses twenty undergraduate departments and eight postgraduate departments spanning different disciplines such as Commerce, Economics, Political science, History, Physical Education, Computer Science, Management and so on. The college is also well-known for its co-curricular activities such as basketball tournaments, musical concerts etc organized on campus every year.
Even though the college has been through drastic changes over the last 6 decades, one thing that has remained constant is its commitment towards imparting excellent quality education. The college also has numerous student exchange programs with foreign universities, which allows students from both institutions to enrich their learning experiences. P.G.D.A.V continues to be an integral part of the academic landscape in Delhi, and many iconic figures who were once students here have gone on to make an indelible mark in their respective fields of expertise.
