About Redstockings Society Bharati College
The Redstockings Literary Society is the English literary society of Bharati College, run by the Department of English. Established in the year 1999, it is one of the most popular Departmental societies in the college which never fails to affirm its position through productive and insightful activities throughout the academic year. Predominantly run by the students, it has gained attention in the university’s circuit of societies though its tireless efforts at promoting literature.
EVENTS
- Under the guidance of the Teacher in Charge Dr.Rakhi Jain and Faculty Coordinator of The Redstockings Literary Society, Dr. Shivani Jha, the Society organised an Intercollege Literary fest, “Breathe”. On 24 november 2020.
- CANVAS CREATIONS-An online painting/drawing/sketching competition held on 24 november 2020.. The student organizers for the event were Ms.Saba Sheikh and Ms.Vidushi Srivastava
- PROSE IT!- An online short story writing competition held on 24 november 2020. The student organizers for the event were Ms.Paromita Sarkar and Ms.PragyaDhiman.
- FRAMED-IN-FRAME-an online photography competition held on 24 november 2020. Ms.Aishwarya Jayan and Ms.Vaishnavi were the student organisers for this event.
