About Prashnottare: Quizzing Club of Aryabhatta College
No thief, however skillful, can rob one of knowledge, and that is why knowledge is the best and safest treasure to acquire.
With an aim to instill the quench of knowledge and ace the art of quizzing in the students, Prashnottare: The Quiz Club of Aryabhatta College was founded in the early part of the year2021. Year 2021-22 thereby, became the first full fledged functional year for the club. The club started its operations by designing a formal organizational structure and distributing the responsibilities within the members of the club. For this, 3 separate departments were framed- Content & Knowledge Research, Design & Tech, and Marketing & PR. Each department was given its exclusive head. The brand new Core Committee also initiated the process of framing the ‘Prashnottare Charter’ – a document enlisting all the process and guidelines to be followed for smooth functioning of the club. The club president lead the drafting process for this. The Charter was unanimously adopted by all the members of the club. The club looks forward to expanding its base wider and making more members from across the courses.

- INDEPENDENCE SERIES
As an initiative under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Prashnottare featured a 7 editioned Instagram post based series titled “75 Years of Independence”. In this series, facts and stories about 7 key areas of India were posted. These 7 areas were- Sports, Space & IT, Economic Growth, Diversity & Heritage, War Glories, Indian Constitution, and Unsung Heroes of Indian Freedom Struggle. The series received a lot of appreciation from the viewers.
- MELANG 2021

After the successful organisation of Jigyasa ’21 in its previous session, Prashnottare decided to go for the first ever Intra College General Quiz for the students of Aryabhatta College exclusively. The product of our efforts was – “Mélange’21”.
Owing to the extended Covid restrictions, Mélange was organised in the online mode. The quiz saw a whooping participation from the students of our college. A total of 25 teams from various courses and years joined us in the preliminary round of the quiz.
ACTIVITIES
As the doors of the outside world were still restricted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Prashnottare found a way out to dispense the thrill of quizzing even in these times. Through its Instagram page, Prashnottare has been very active around the year to bring out Weekly Trivia and Special Feature quizzes.

Prashnottare launched an Instagram post based series titled “This Week”. As the title says, it covered a synopsis of all the major events that happened in that week. Usually a post used to come up every Friday under this series. It was one of the most successful and popular series of the club. A total of 10 editions of news briefs were posted in this series.
