Delhi University is one of the top preferred universities all over India. On average most students wants to land in their dream university despite it having a 100% cut-off. Several other universities were established to address the issue of seat unavailability for all the aspirants, but they did not succeed. In fact, according to a few researchers, the rush for DU seats among students indicates the unavailability of good colleges in India at reasonable fees that every section can afford.

Delhi University offers affordable fees for each course, which makes it accessible to most sections of society. This gives freedom to different background people come and apply for the DU diversity of courses. You can expect that undergraduate course fees will range from Rs 8,000 to Rs 50,000. It gives freedom for everyone to showcase their talent, and also the festival act as much needed break for every student and teacher too.

If you are an outsider or non-Delhi or NCR resident, then adapting to Delhi won’t be easy for you. Delhi is counted among the top polluted cities of the world and is one of the top populated cities in India. Especially if you live in hill stations, then you won’t be able to breathe the fresh air again in Delhi. This will affect your health after a period of time. DU is a grab deal for everyone, but yes, health is something that you can’t avoid. 

Infrastructure   

The infrastructure of DU colleges is not as great as that of private colleges. The top colleges of DU have a beautiful infrastructure, and several films like Rockstar, Kabir Singh, and much more use the same infrastructure. However, when you see the internal infrastructure of non-top colleges, they are not good.  

No hostel facility 

There is no hostel facility for several colleges that comes under DU. Yes, for outstation students, it is a great issue for accommodation as they have to search for PG and then its security. The hostel is an essential requirement for every student, especially girls, as it has stricter security regarding girls’ safety, as most DU colleges are for girls only. However, only a few colleges provide this facility rest have to work on it.
