The voting process begins with the announcement of elections for different student bodies. It includes college-level councils and DUSU.

Nomination and Scrutiny: Deadline for form filling is Sep 12

The process of submitting the form will start with candidates submitting their nomination papers and affidavits. The deadline for submission of nomination forms is 3 p.m. on September 12, 2023.

After their submission, DU reviews their nominations and makes a final list of selected candidates. Candidates can reconsider and withdraw their nominations until 5 p.m. on September 13, 2023.

Election Day: Students exercise their voting rights on Sep 22

On September 22, 2023, students in day colleges will exercise their voting rights between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., while evening college students can vote from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On this day, the heart of Delhi University (DU) will beat with democratic fervour as students in both day and evening colleges eagerly exercise their voting rights.

Counting of Votes: Dates to be revealed soon

Counting votes is a crucial part of elections and should be done securely. Counting decides the real winner of the election.
