CA Exam : ICAI Re-opens Application Correction Facility

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the exam conducting body, has again reopened the CA exam correction window for May 2024. It is reopened from today itself, 27 March 2024 on their official website. Students who want to make corrections in their application form can do it from today by using the CA exam correction window. The last date for making corrections is 29 March 2024.

According to the official notice, students will be able to edit the following things in their application form :

• Group
• Examination City
• Medium

How to Access the Correction Window?

Candidates of Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Final Examinations seeking a change of examination city, group and medium can avail CA exam correction window online facility available at ICAI eServices.

Steps to Use CA Exam Correction Window? 

• Step 1: Open the official website of ICAI.
• Step 2: Tap on the ‘Login’ button that you can see on the homepage and write your login ID and password.
• Step 3: Click on your CA application form in which you have to make changes.
• Step 4: Make the changes that are required and fill in the right information.
• Step 5: Tap on the ‘Save’ button to finally save all of your changes and move forward with your application process.
• Step 6: At last, download the ICAI CA May 2024 application correction form and for future use, you can also take out its printout. 

Following are the dates of examination of CA for groups 1 and 2 :

• The CA inter-exams for group 1 will take place on the 3rd, 5th, and 9th of May. 
• The CA inter exams for group 2 will take place on the 11th, 15th, and 17th of May.
• The CA final exams of group 1 will be held on the 2nd, 4th, and 8th of May
• The CA final exams of group 2 will be held on the 10th, 14th, and 16th of May. 
• Moreover, the International Taxation — Assessment Test or INTT-AT will take place on May 14 and 16. 

The CA intermediate exam contains 8 subjects across two groups:

• Group 1: Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, and Taxation.
• Group 2: Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems and Strategic Management, Financial Management, and Economics for Finance.
