A student union or association is an organization led by students, aiming to ensure fairness, provide opportunities, and amplify the voice of the entire student community within the university. Regardless of the specific role you aspire to undertake, student unions greatly benefit from the involvement of enthusiastic and dedicated students like yourself. 

They actively seek assistance in various capacities, ranging from actively participating in peaceful protests advocating for improved cafeteria offerings to administrative roles. These opportunities enable you to explore the best with your interests and skills.

Delhi University Student Union 

The Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) is the organisation that represents students from all of Delhi University’s colleges and faculties. Additionally, every individual college within the university has its own student union, which conducts annual elections.

These student elections generate substantial excitement and fervour among the student community. Notably, several former office bearers of DUSU have successfully transitioned into holding public offices within both state and central governments.

This can result in a lack of attention given to specific student grievances or issues, leading to a sense of neglect or frustration among some students.

Bias and Limitations of Student Union Members
