Issues such as discrimination based on caste, gender, and religion do exist, and the university has taken steps to address them. The Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) has set up dedicated cells to address grievances related to discrimination, and many colleges have started awareness programs to educate students on issues related to diversity and inclusion.

Being a part of such a diverse and inclusive community can enrich one’s learning experience and broaden one’s world-view. However, it also comes with challenges that need to be addressed.

The aim should be to create a safe and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and respected, and they can all immerse themselves in the richness of the cultural tapestry that is Delhi University.
