About VOCIFEROUS VOCATIONALS – The Vocational Society of College of Vocational Studies

Formed in 2016, VOCIFEROUS VOCATIONALS is a society of students of the vocational studies programmes in the College. Each year 100’s of students are added to the VV family. The society has diverse membership from across all vocational programmes – HRM, TOU, MMRB, OMSP, MMI, MM and SME. The society calendar begins with an ice-breaker promotional fun event and recruitment of new members. Induction includes workshops held to orient students about the functioning of different departments present in the society. Every year two major events are conducted that include the bi-annual event ENTHUSIA and annual event VERVE. These events are the foundation that enhances the skills of students by giving them an opportunity to put theory into practice.Members from different vocational streams benefit from the interdisciplinary inputs as they work with each other as a team.

Vociferous Vocationals is the only vocational society in the college. It works for the upliftment of vocational courses.

Our society has Organised more than 50 events , 1 5+ guest lectures covering more than 70 colleges , reaching out to more than 10,000 people.

Verve 3.0 – Annual event of Vociferous Vocationals

Verve 3.0 – Annual event of Vociferous Vocationals 

On April 20th, Vociferous Vocationals – The Vocational Society Of CVS had organised it’s  Annual Event Verve which included multiple rounds of fun and brain teasing activities  accompanied with a huge number of participants. The event was open to the public and  approximately 120 people were in attendance. During the event, attendees took parts in the  activities namely Gravel Blind and Dare2Complete and performed well. During the event, participants had the opportunity to be a part of performances which was  performed by our college’s NCWEB girls.  The Keynote was all the winners and runner-up were awarded by our President- Mansi  Biswas.  At the conclusion of the event, people got to know various things about Vociferous  Vocationals and lastly team Voci got appreciated for making the event mesmerising.

Webinar: Personality Development

Webinar: Personality Development

An online webinar was conducted on October 7, 2020 on Personality Development. Speaker for the session was Ms. Shalu Chopra. This session concluded that – Personality development is the relatively persisting motif of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that differentiate individuals from each other. The commanding viewpoint in personality mindset indicates that personality emerges early and continues to develop across one’s lifespan.

Event

A speech competition was held during the lockdown, consisting of two rounds,In Round 1 the participants were asked to record a video and speak on any one of the provided topics. In Round 2 the highest scorers of round 1 had to deliver their speeches live and then the winner was decided.
