About Palash-THE ECO CLUB of Bharati College
The environmental society of Bharati College, Palash, aims to bring awareness about environment and its protection among the students and staff of the college. The society is the named after a sacred tree, Palash, also known as “Flame of the Forest”, which has abundant uses for health and the herbal medicinal world.
Urban living has brought all sorts of convenience and comfort to our lives but with strings attached. It has caused immense damage to our ecosystem, polluting land, air and water and ultimately affecting the health of all living beings. This is where Palash wants to intervene.
