In 2007, the library adopted the ‘SOUL’ (Software Of University Library) Integrated Library Management System developed by INFLIBNET.

By 2010, the library successfully automated its operations, including creating a comprehensive database of all books and library services. Currently, the library employs the SOUL 2.0 version, which includes an efficient Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) system, enabling users to check their account status and streamline the information retrieval process.

With a seating capacity exceeding 150 users, the library boasts a vast collection of over 99,000 books. Furthermore, it maintains subscriptions to a diverse range of print journals, periodicals, national and international magazines, along with access to 23 prominent national newspapers. The 2023 placement report for Maitreyi College has not been released yet. However, according to the NIRF 2022 report, a total of 123 undergraduate students and 6 postgraduate students secured placements during the previous placement drive. The median package for undergraduate students was INR 4.67 Lakh Per Annum (LPA), while postgraduate students received a median package of INR 6.40 LPA.
