LIC AAO 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates applying for the post of LIC AAO must have a good idea about the pattern of the Preliminary and Main exams. The LIC AAO recruitment has 3 levels and it is mandatory for students to successfully clear the cut-off of each section to be qualified for the next round.
- Preliminary: Comprises 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 70 Marks
- Mains: 300 (Objective) + 25 Marks (Descriptive)
- Personal Interview: 30 Marks
Exam Duration: The duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes and the duration of the main exam is 150 minutes i.e., 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Marking Scheme: The Mark awarded for each correct answer in both preliminary and main exams is 1 mark and 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
