The University of Delhi is actively seeking qualified candidates for 36 non-teaching Posts and has extended an invitation for applications.   • Senior Technical Assistant: 3 posts 
  • Technical Assistant: 6 posts
  • Technical Assistant: 6 posts
  • Laboratory Attendant: 15 posts

Eligibility Criteria 36 Non-Teaching Posts

Interested candidates are advised to review the Comprehensive Notification posted on the official website to acquire comprehensive details on the particular educational requirements and age restrictions linked to each position. Interested parties should make sure their qualifications match those needed for the chosen position by familiarising themselves with the eligibility standards listed in the official notification.

Selection Process

This job selection procedure for 36 non-teaching Posts consists of a two-part evaluation, which is a written exam followed by a skill test. There is a maximum score of 400 marks in the two-hour written exam. Each of the four required questions in the written exam is obligatory. It is crucial to remember that there is a negative marking scheme that subtracts one mark for each wrong response.

Following the written test, successful candidates move on to the skill test, which lasts 1 hour and comprises questions totalling 100 marks. The skill test is multifaceted, potentially encompassing descriptive and multiple-choice questions alongside practical assessments. This stage seeks to assess theoretical understanding as well as problem-solving abilities and practical application.

The selection procedure is intended to evaluate candidates’ competence and fitness for the role, guaranteeing a thorough assessment that extends beyond a theoretical comprehension of the material.

Below is the distribution of application fees as per the category of the candidate:

  • General Category: Rs. 1000/-
  • OBC (NCL)/ EWS and Women Category: Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST and PwBD Category: Rs. 600/-
