DU VC Has Been Invited For “Pran Pratishtha” Ceremony of Ram Temple

Delhi University Vice Chancellor has been invited to the "Pran Pratishtha" ceremony of Ram Temple scheduled for January 22.

Yogesh Singh, the Delhi University Vice Chancellor has been invited to the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony scheduled for January 22 at the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to the official statement, Singh received an invitation to participate in the “Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha” programme from Alok Kumar, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s international working president.

Accepting the invitation at his residence, the vice chancellor expressed his pride and honor for the country as he remarked on the significance of the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony of the idol of Lord Ram taking place in Ayodhya’s temple.

He emphasized that January 22, 2024, would be a historic day for India, highlighting it as a moment when the world would witness the nation’s identity, resolve, and glory. According to Singh, the Ram temple in Ayodhya serves as a symbol of India’s identity and pride.

In a gracious acceptance of the invitation at his home, the vice chancellor reiterated the importance of the“Pran Pratishtha” ceremony for the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya’s temple. He went on to declare that the upcoming January 22, 2024, event would etch its place in India’s history, showcasing the nation’s identity, determination, and magnificence. Singh added that the Ram temple in Ayodhya stands as a proud symbol of India’s identity.

On January 22, 2024, a significant moment unfolded in the history of India, as expressed by Singh, marking a day that would be etched into the nation’s narrative. Singh emphasized that on this day, the global stage would witness India’s distinct identity, unwavering resolve, and resplendent glory. He underscored the Ram temple in Ayodhya as a symbol not only of India’s identity but also of its pride.

The vice chancellor acknowledged the presence of Alok Kumar, the International Working President of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, who had extended an invitation for the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla. Singh conveyed his deep appreciation for this invitation, considering it a great honour. He noted that the University of Delhi is fully committed to supporting this cause in every possible way, signifying a significant association.

The involvement of key figures from the University of Delhi was highlighted during the occasion. Shriprakash Singh, the Director of South Campus, Registrar Vikas Gupta, Proctor Rajni Abbi, Director of SOL Payal Mago, Chairperson of Culture Council Anoop Lather, and DUTA President Ajay Kumar Bhagi were among the dignitaries present, further emphasizing the university’s commitment to and participation in this noteworthy campaign.

The event saw the presence of several distinguished individuals, including Shriprakash Singh, the Director of South Campus, Vikas Gupta, Registrar, Rajni Abbi, Proctor, Payal Mago, Director of SOL, Anoop Lather, Chairperson of the Culture Council, and Ajay Kumar Bhagi, DUTA President.

These key figures gathered on the occasion, bringing their expertise and leadership to the event. Shriprakash Singh, in his role as the Director of South Campus, played a significant part, contributing his insights and guidance to the proceedings. Alongside him was Vikas Gupta, the Registrar, who added his administrative expertise to the event.
